“The beachouse is a lovely place. Don’t expect a 5star resort, but it’s got all you need. Staff is friendly and helpful and you feel welcome as a solo traveler. There’s not much around (no supermarkets, shops etc) so unless you have a car, make sure you bring everything that you need for your stay. The public bus from/to the airport stops right in front of the Beachouse (costs about FJD11 one way and takes about 3h) Just make sure you tell the driver multiple times to stop at the Beachouse. “This was our second stay at DaVos. It is the perfect spot for our family with bure style accommodation. The beach is great for snorkelling and there is a huge pool. Breakfast was good. The staff were lovely. Ryan and co went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. It could benefit from some small upgrades but l believe it is fairly priced for what is on offer. “Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk.
