It is always amazing to beat the path and walk along the unknown road which leads to local gems. I was wandering around Hatton region near my home and walked along the tea plantations without having any idea where I'm going. Finally, I ended up here with a breath-taking view of the Castlereagh Reservoir. Don't be afraid to beat the path. #LoveMyTown

Tea factories are not rare in the up country of Sri Lanka. If you are traveling with the train it's bit unlucky that you will be unable to have a look inside about the process of tea manufacturing. Sri Lanka is a leading tea manufacturing countries in the world as well. You might have heard about Ceylon tea or even tasted it.
Christ Church Warleigh was built in 1878. The Bible in use is the same Bible that was brought in, in 1879. The Church, the furniture, the Bible, the pipe organ, everything is beautifully maintained and still used. Visitors can see the church everyday from 8am - 4pm. There is a caretaker who knows a lot about the history of this quaint church. So don't be shy to ask him.

Great welcome from very friendly and professional staff. This hotel is amazing and gave us the best stay in Hatton. Beautiful location, great staff and quiet area. In addition great food and pool area. Nice Walks and hikes in the stunning tea fields

一下車就被飯店正門吸引，很有英國殖民風格的飯店。與歷史淵源結合，真的是來此地最好的選擇。房間有暖爐，讓一下從30度平地來到此地的我們不至於因12度的夜晚而感冒。房間裝潢典雅，浴缸的配置也讓我們能夠讓我們在熱水中舒緩幾日以來在古蹟行走的辛勞。位置絕佳，致central market或是Post office 只需步行幾分鐘。英式花園小而美，一片陸地搭配主建築物讓我們好像似過去貴族。飯店附設的Grand india餐廳是我們在斯國吃到最好吃的餐，在hotels.com訂房還能享有15%的優惠，真的是很物超所值!
