"Great value stay at this once state of the art 1930s hotel. Full of old world charm, white cotton sheets, surprised they were not starched. Huge bedrooms and with a bath. Big breakfast in the period dining room. Ideally situated and next door to the Grand Hotel with more opulence."

You do need to be a bit agile to climb out of the shower, which is over a bath with high sides. We tried several of the restaurants and the cafe. All were good. ..."
