Très cocooning ! On se sent comme à la maison , surtout si il n’y a personne d’autre dans les deux autres et dernières chambres du lodge !! Deco très South Africa ! Terrasse pas utilisable dans la chambre du bas malheureusement ! Douche extérieure super sauf si il pleut !!

Quarto confortáveis. Fui com minha família e chegamos no local no final da tarde. A pousada fic dentro de uma reserva privada (com vários animais) e num local isolado, e tem apenas três quartos no estabelecimento. E confesso que na chegada ficamos um pouco preocupados.pois notamos uma certa inabilidade do único funcionário da pousada em nos mostrar a segurança do local. Após algumas horas tivemos contato com um casal de ngleses que também estava hospedado lá e ficamos tranquilos em relação à segurança.

En mindre Lodge som var rätt charmig och en härlig värd. Men i minsta laget för oss som familj. Runt Löfgren strövade djur vilket vi uppskattade mycket. Ca 20 min till. Addo entrén. God frukost som innehöll det vi uppskattar.

The grounds of the property and spectacular! The outside garden is huge and full of animal life, very cool to walk or drive around. Our host, Moses, was absolutely great! He was very helpful and friendly and had a vast amount of information on the animals. He also cooked us a delicious meal! The views from our room were amazing! The only downside was the room noise, as the floorboards, doors and beds all creek quite loudly and also the walls are this so you can hear others.

Moses kochte für uns allein. Super viel Esen -- Barbecue am offenen Grill. Total zuvorkommend und gab uns super Tip eine ganz Tagestour mit Schotia im Addo und im privaten Park v Schotia zu unternehmen. War das Geld voll wert. Haben Löwen, Elefanten, Büffel, Nashörner u.v.m. gesehen. Sofort wieder diese Unterkunft, die auch 2 eigene Giraffen und Springbock und Straußen hatten. War ein super schönes Erlebnis dort. Auch die Ranger v Schotia, mit Abholservice v B&B und Abendessen im Park in einer Lodge einfach super!!!@

Nicht akzeptables Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Der Zustand des Zimmers (wir hatten das Zimmer im Anbau vom EG ) ist nicht schön zu reden. Die Bodenfliesen und der Teppich sind in einem desolaten Zustand. Die Türen ließen sich kaum öffnen und schließen. Die Toilettenreinigung wurde wohl vergessen und das Bett inkl. der Biberbettwäsche waren verunreinigt. Der Zustand der Gemeinschaftsräume war besser aber dennoch nicht dem Preisniveau entsprechend.

Schöne Lodge, aber nicht die Sundowner Tour buchen

Die Lodge liegt ca. 10 km vom Entrance des Addo Elephant Park entfernt an der Hauptstraße, weswegen die Adresse nicht in unser TomTom-Navi eingegeben werden konnte. In der Lodge kümmert sich Moses hervorragend um die Gäste und hat uns ein sehr leckeres vegetarisches Menue gezaubert sowie wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Das Zimmer ist sauber. Das Bett ist allerdings zu kurz für große Menschen (mein Mann ist 1,90m und musste schräg schlafen). Gebrauchsspuren (Teppich) sind vorhanden. Unser Zimmer hatte eine tolle großen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Addo. Wir hatten über den Inhaber Bertie eine Sundowner Cruise auf dem Sunday River gebucht. Diese war überteuert und nicht sehr komfortabel (das Boot entsprach nicht dem gesendeten link!) auch wenn sich der Skipper Mühe gegeben ha t. Daher Finger weg von diesem Angebot! Die Lodge hat uns aber insgesamt gut gefallen.

Der Aufenthalt war super! Die Lage zum addo Nationalpark parkt war perfekt... Das Essen war der Wahnsinn! Satt wird man auf alle fälle. Moses und seine Kollegin waren super freundlich. Nachts konnten wir auf dem Balkon einen Löwen brüllen hören! Das einzige Manko war, dass es leider sehr hellhörig ist. In den oberen beiden Zimmern hört man schon ein normales Gespräch in‘s andere Zimmer... war für uns allerdings kein Problem!

Great lodge in a great location.

What an amazing lodge. The place is on it's own estate with an array of animals including Giraffe, Kudu, Ostrich and more on site (it's like it's own mini safari). Then, in addition to this, you're literally a 10 - 15 minute drive from the main gates of Addo Elephant Park. Oh, and I daren't forget to mention the fabulous hosts. Moses and his wife were knowledgable, polite and attentive throughout the whole stay. Highly recommended.

Just perfect! The best choice ever! We arrived earlier and the room was almost ready. We waited some minutes and could check in earlier. The room has view to a natural park and it’s possible to wake up seeing the sunrise and some animals. Beautiful! The property has a big natural area where we can walk around and see some animals very close. We could see giraffes, kudus, Monkeys, ostriches, turtles... amazing experience! Moses and his wife (sorry if I don’t know how to spell his name) are so kind and attentive about all the details. They cooked a delicious barbecue with national food (optional) for our diner. We loved that! He also helped us booking safari tour. A great breakfast is available with yogurt, musli, fruit juice, toast, eggs, fresh and sweet fruit salad, tea, coffee, milk, and many other items. Thank you! We had a wonderful stay there!

Nice place in the wild

Extreme friendly and attentive hosts. We saw 3 lions from our balcony (secure distance). When you want to go for a safari choose schotia, afternoon ride.

Nice room, view of the park... a bit isolated.

The room and all the instalations are very good, clean. The breakfast was very delicious, but withouts varieties. The entrance of the hotel was not exactly easy to find at midnight. The concierge Bertie helped us with bookings of Safari and transfers to airport. We felt as in our private cabana/lodge, because the place is too isolated... but a few kilometers of other options of restaurants and hotels. The pool area has a great view of the park.

Lodge mit nettem und hilfsbereitem Personal, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings fantastischer Blick (morgens mit Tieren aufwachen beim aus dem Fenster gucken). Klasse Braai mit Operator Moses.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt

Wir waren drei Tage in dieser Unterkunft und es war sensationell. Es steht und fällt alles mit dem beherbergenden Paar Moses und Priska, die einem wahnsinnig verwöhnen. Das Essen (v.a. auch abends!!) waren eine Wucht. Der Eigentümer muss gut auf die beiden aufpassen. Die Zimmer und die Anlage sind sehr schön (inkl. 4 Giraffen). Man ist in ca. 10 Fahrminuten im Addo, der sehr zu empfehlen ist. Solange Moses und Priska dort sind, sehr sehr zu empfehlen.

Schöne Lage, aber nicht so schön wie die Bilder

Die Lodge ist schön einem privat Park, in dem man mit Glück auch Giraffen begegnen kann. Die Lodge selber ist nett, aber auch schon in die Jahre gekommen und sehr hellhörig. Besonders den Zug und die Straße kann man sehr gut hören. Unsere Außendusche war nur etwas für nicht schüchterne Nutzer. Was uns nicht klar war ist, dass die Essensmöglichkeiten sehr begrenzt sind. Ein Dinner sollte beim bemühten Hauswart früh bestellt werden. Es gibt keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, das am besten vorher organisieren. Als Tip für den Addo Park: frühzeitig Safaris im Park buchen, alternativ gibt es nur sehr teure externe.

Beautiful Haven

Moses and Prisca were helpful, friendly hosts who looked after us well in this relaxing lodge. A great place to 'get away from it all' or to use as a base for trips to Addo.

Lovely, rustic lodge with great food and rooms

I stayed here with my son for a few nights on a trip to Addo. It's a small, charming rustic lodge with 3 rooms on a beautiful extensive plot that has giraffe and buck. An easy 10 minute drive to Addo's main gate. Moses and Prieska, who looked after us, were fantastic hosts. They prepared a magnificent barbecue in the evening, and breakfast was sumptuous too. Nice touches in the room, like a jacuzzi bath and hot outside showers with great views. Our room was very spacious. No wifi, though, and this is a place that is very rustic, built with a lot of wood.

Traumhafte Unterkunft!

Wunderschönes Guesthouse unweit vom Addo-Nationalpark! Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Moses und seine Frau sind sehr nett und Moses ist ein toller Gastgeber. Abends wurde von Ihnen auf Wunsch ein leckeres südafrikanisches Barbecue hergerichtet.
