"We called prior to ask if the indoor pool was heated, cause we have picky kids lol it was and that’s why we chose this hotel. Rooms were spotless, carpet was actually clean and not all sticky feeling. Staff super friendly. Breakfast was hot and delicious with good choices! "

"Very unique place to stay esp on Halloween night! It’s the basement of a old church but with a few rooms made into bedrooms. Kathy, our host, was very responsive and accommodating."

"The house was just as described. It was clean and decorated very nicely. We felt very much at home. It was great having the park right across the street. It's really nice that older kids can play at the park, and you can watch them while you relax on the front porch. It would be nice if the City of Emporia would put up "Kids at Play" and "Speed Limit" signs around the park. We would definitely stay again!"
