“We had a wonderful stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor is spare, in a good way. Clean and minimal. The food was delicious, and they happily accommodated our request for vegetarian meals. They offered good recommendations for hiking areas. The property caters to cyclists, which we did not realize and have nothing to do with, but it was perfect for us on a couples sightseeing vacation as well. ”

“Excellent food both at breakfast and in the lovely restaurant. Both rooms have incredible sea views which we greatly appreciated. The spa and the outdoor therapy pool were nicely appointed. Our massages were arranged on our arrival and were perfect. We were there on cool overcast days so we didn’t take advantage of the beach directly across from the hotel. But it was tempting. They made us and our dogs welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay at La Elmes. ”

Destacó la amabilidad del personal,sobretodo el de limpieza y las chicas del comedor....muy agradables y simpáticas Las vistas tampoco me gustaron desde la habitación,es claustrofóbico....me sabe mal,pero creo que no volveremos por este motivo”

“Lovely hotel! Rooms are clean, spacious, and well appointed. The staff is amazing!! Location is tucked away in a quiet area but Besalu is so small you can get anywhere in a 5 minute walk. Wonderful stay would definitely come back!”

“This hotel had charm and personality. The owner herself met us at front desk upon arrival. Breakfast was excellent good Too bad it was too chilly to use the adorable balcony space, or the roof terrace.”

“This was truly a place where love, care and compassion shine. I think it is a family business, or like minded people. Nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts were attentive at all times and said many often to let them know if we needed anything, or wanted the dinner menu tweaked in any way. I had afternoon tea in served on the patio everyday at four. Breakfast was a huge buffet of local meats, cheeses, breads, cereal, fruit, coffee, muesli, juices and more. On days when the hotel was not……
