“The Chateau is well set back from the nearby road and there is no traffic noise. There is lots of parking on the site in several areas. We stayed in the Chateau rather than the more modern accommodation nearby. A lift was available to our room and since it was very warm ,40C, our room had an air conditioning unit, in the room. The room had lovely features and was very comfortable. Dinner in the lovely restaurant was first class. The chef adjusted dishes where appropriate because of my Coeliac……

“Absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect. We even got upgraded! Room was lovely and clean with a pretty view from the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America). Location was excellent. Our favourite staff was Benedict at the front desk- she was so lovely and friendly. She was a joy to see at the reception. Our other favourite staff was Sammy at the restaurant who was attentive and also hilarious. Our “4 course” dinner was divine. Spoiler alert: you get more than 4 courses. On market……

“Just a one-night stay, but after one night, we wanted to stay a week. The personnel were not just helpful, they were downright AWESOME. Above and beyond. We came in around lunchtime and opted to eat on property. Best decision we could’ve made. The small staff made the most of their culinary skill. The lunch was perfect.
