“This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). “Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt. Zimmer und Betten waren hervorragend, das Frühstück top, Pool und Strand ebenfalls. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns zudem der ökologische, nachhaltige Ansatz. “It was an amazing stay. We checked in late, after midnight, and check in was smooth. The rooms are beautiful and we got balcony at the first floor. The sea view was good.
Communication with the owner was very good and he was there on call as and when required.
There is restaurant near the beach and for the hotel guests, one umbrella and two chairs were free. this was an excellant perk.
Parking can be done between hotel and restaurant and there is enough parking so no worries.

“Had an amazing stay here over the last 5 nights, whole
Property was immaculate and you can see the care the family put into running it.
Great location only 5 minute walk from town centre and 5/10 to The beach. Plenty of tavernas and shops close by again within 5/10 minutes.
Property is underrated and for what we paid it was above our expectations and underrated. During the day most other guests went to the beach meaning that we had use of the pool to ourselves and loved it.

“The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything.
Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. That also means you have cobblestone streets which still require effort for even the smoothest luggage. The suite we were in was on the 3rd……
