Simple rooms with high quality bedding and towels.. Bottled water was provided as well as toiletries. Breakfast was good value and the lounges comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated The staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is just a few minutes from the town with bars and restaurants and a few metres from the botanic garden and castle viewpoint . It's basic but fine for an overnight stay. The underground parking was easy to locate and manoeuvre in unlike some hotel car parks. Secure and reasonably priced." Very small carpark with difficult entry/exit angle as well. Very hard mattress and pillows made for a rough sleep. At night, a lot of noise and smoke from downstairs. Air conditioner wasn't working, and spa bath didn't work either. Overall, a reasonable price for our stay, but disappointing as from the listing I'd expected more of a luxury escape."
