Assateague Point Tours

The room did not have any pressure on the water. The door was very hard to open and the room had no closet to hang clothes. A experience that I wish nobody has to experience on vacation!

We've been coming here for years. Unfortunately, this will be our last. We always book an ocean front room but for the last few years we get a room where the glass is shaded by moisture in between the double glass. We asked for a different room but were told none were available. Second year in a row that the elevator was broken. We were able to use the service one this time luckily. We were promised an "upper level" room. We were put on the third floor, (there's five floors). When we asked for a higher room as promised, we were told there were none available and since we booked through a third party there wasn't anything they could do. The restaurant was nice. The food was pretty good and the staff were super. The indoor pool is very nice. You can't beat the location. We're gonna miss it here but too many issues.

I like the John Yancey Hotel. It is a great location, easy access to many nice restaurants and places like Jockeys Ridge and Jeanette's Pier. It is nice to see a pool with 8ft deep end. Poole is well maintained. Boardwalk access to the beach is very nice. I would like to see the ocean-side facing part of the buildings roof areas repaired. There were a couple of areas that detracted from the overall niceness of everywhere else. We enjoyed the stay and certainly would like to stay here again.
