We stayed at this lovely apartment in the heart of the Plakka area. The hosts were wonderful and stayed in close contact with me all the way till I got to the apartment. Given we are Americans and were not sure how to get to and from the location, they arranged for shuttle service to the apartment and then to the port 2 days later. It was easy to get into the apartment and the apartment was clean and ready for us to stay. The host that I spoke with was welcoming and even put up with my broken Greek. When you stepped out of or front door before us stood the Acropolis. At night we could freely walk around without feeling unsafe and the locals were wonderful. The location is absolutely unbeatable right across the street from the Acropolis Museum and at the foot of the Acropolis itself. It’s also conveniently located right at the Acropolis metro station. Communication with the host was top-notch and extremely helpful. We utilized their transport services which was very convenient. It was set up 'pay in property' already and they didnt bother to come to property and make this payment. Instead, they used our credit card which we used just fo 'reservation. You should be more careful about this... Other than this i would highly recommend this place, so easy to find, PERFECT LOCATION. Parking is located about 10 minutes away by walk and cost €15 a day. It does close at 9 PM and parking is hard to find afterwards, but I highly recommend this property.
