Lovely little gem of a hotel, little way out of the centre but easily accessible by foot or Metro and close to the Archeological Museum and the HOHO bus stop. Clean, quiet and all the staff super friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Very kind staff. They provided directions when we arrived via the metro and provided a port transfer for a fair price when we left. The room was clean, cool (air conditioned) and had a spacious bathroom.
This was my second stay and it was like coming home greeted at reception by Maria like family an shown straight to our room which was the Delux Suite and was clean and well equipped with everything you would need in the kichen. Later that day we ran into Lissal the other receptionist who also gave us a very warm welcome and also shared her knowledge of the local resturants and she was spot on. On another day she very kindly shared some of her local bread with us. On this trip I also meet with Harris the manager and he was charming and helpful. This hotel is a hidden gem in Athens and Harris and his staff should be very proud of their hard work. Can not wait to return.
I can't recommend this place enough! It was incredibly family-friendly, with a lovely balcony, clean and comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. Lila and Marina were exceptional—they were so helpful with their recommendations and always happy to answer any questions we had. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Athens. My whole family absolutely loved this hotel!
We had an amazing 14 day stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel like family. The suite was large with an amazing patio/deck area. Wonderful experience!
This is a perfect place ..clean rooms, amenities, wonderful bathroom, very affordable. Plus the fabulous staff will help you with any and all requests. 5 stars for sure
Very well designed rooms. Excellent soundproofing as well could not hear any noise from outside. The bathroom was very well laid out with ample storage, a very good hairdryer with concentrator and diffuser attachments. The shower was roomy with excellent water pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable, firm but not hard (you were supported but not sleeping on a hard plank). The balcony was lovely for morning coffee or evening drinks. The elevator is small but that’s expected in older Greek buildings.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the building itself is beautifully renovated. The location is very well suited for exploring Exarchia with many restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and cafes in easy walking distance.
Very nice hotel room in very nice location, not in city center but in walking distance and close to many cool cafes and bars.
Room was great and very clean.
I am very sensitive to sound at night, so my only issue was that there was a lot of noise coming from people entering the hotel as well as from people in the stairwell at night. One night someone even rang the doorbell from the street to my room at 5 in the morning...
In general, though, I very much appreciated this hotel and would choose it again.
We stayed at Exarchia House Project twice, at either end of a tour. We stayed the second time because we liked it so much the first time. Each stay, we found clean, modern, comfortable rooms. And odd as it may seem to comment on it, the bathrooms were great. All in all, this facility may have been the best place we stayed during our Greek vacation.
The staff were also first rate. They helped arrange cabs from and to the airport and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area.
Worth noting, The Exarchia section of Athens has a lot of graffiti, which may make some nervous at first. Don’t be put off by it. We’re past retirement age and never felt uncomfortable as we walked around. Plus, the location is great for restaurants and the Archeological Museum, and the nearby Saturday street market has some of the most beautiful food we’ve ever seen. Access to the Acropolis area is not difficult.
We hope to return to Greece soon; it’s a magical country. And we will stay at the Exarchia House Project when we do.
What a wonderful hotel.Harris kept in touch with me before our arrival and our rooms were ready for us as soon as we arrived. We were welcomed by warm friendly staff. The rooms had nearly everything you would need the only item missing was a hair dryer. The bed was very comftable and everyone in my party can not wait to go back. Exarchia House Project is a hidden gem in Athens
Well maintained, clean and exactly what I needed for business trip. If you’re not used to Athens, this area is literally covered in graffiti. It’s not unsafe and there are excellent coffee and pastry shops nearby, but the graffiti takes some getting used to.
