Hat auch einen kleinen Gemüse und Kräutergarten wo man sich bedienen kann. Gute Betten und schnelles Internet. Sehr netter Vermieter. ”

“Family friendly gite, great as a bolt hole. Fun added extras inside for the kids. Outside area is great, pool area wonderful. Upstairs bathroom and some utensils may need updating at some point but overall all was good and we had everything we needed. Be aware the third bedroom is accessed by a steep ladder and not suitable for younger children, fine for my 10&12 year old with the help of a stair gate guard we attached.Friendly and helpful hosts. Only 10 mins from a variety of places to visit……

“We actually stayed for 6 weeks whilst waiting for our house purchase to complete. In that time we were visited by friends and family. Shabby Chic Paradise is in a great location, peaceful and private yet only 10 minutes drive to Saintes centre. Lots of space for groups and their pets and children. The house is well appointed, unique in character and very comfortable. We had a very happy six weeks and were sad to leave. Michael is an excellent host.”

“The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. ”

“Lovely overall 10-day stay with our 2 families in this beautifully decorated and well appointed house; plenty of room, comfy beds, fantastic water pressure, amazing social family kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer and drinks fridge. (Only teeny thing was the microwave wasnt working during our stay).
