“I really wish it had been a better experience. The photos shown are nothing like what we found, and this should be stated on the website, since there are two very different buildings. We had to walk up four flights of stairs because there’s no elevator. The room I booked looked like it hadn’t been maintained in decades. My husband tried adjusting the temperature and the control came off the wall and the humidity smell was strong. We went to reception to request an upgrade because the room was……

“We had read previous comments about the service or the owner’s attitude at this hotel, but our experience was entirely different. It’s important to remember that this is a small business run by a couple, and sometimes reviews don’t reflect the full picture. We stayed here for a week and found everything to our liking. The atmosphere was warm, the accommodation super comfortable, and the setting ideal for a relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will certainly be returning.”
