“We stayed at this home for two nights to be closer to the airport before flying out of San José, and it was just what we needed. The property manager was fantastic—very responsive and communicative every step of the way. The location was ideal, only about 20–25 minutes from the airport, which made travel day so much easier.We really enjoyed the pool and the lush, tropical grounds—it was a peaceful and relaxing spot to unwind. “It was perfect for me due to my requirements. The host replied quickly to any questions I had during my stay. This was much better than I expected and for our filming requirements. 10-15 minutes to airport, 45 minutes to Poasito, 2 hours to Jaco. It was like a home away from home.”

“Great place to stay if you arrive late or are heading to airport early, as it’s only 5min drive. The owner can arrange transport to airport for 15$. The house was very clean and exactly as described, would defiantly stay again.”

“My husband, daughter and I wanted to stay in a house near San Jose, and this worked out really nicely. The property is just gorgeous with the flowers and greenery everywhere. Eduardo and Betty are so sweet. We paid extra for dinner and breakfast the first day which was a huge help until we could get to the grocery store.I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone elderly or with little kids—no railing on the stairs or paved paths. You need a car to stay here, for sure. And the bed in the main room was……

“Lovely stay. All the reviews are accurate and not much more we can add. Truly the place is a private paradise - the outdoor shower and wildlife and the cloud forest just beyond. Those were some of the highlights for us. Easy to contact owners and they had a number of good suggestions of day trips. Highly recommend!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed Diana's Atenas home. Leticia and Darwin were wonderful resources and became friends. It was such a joy to sit on the verandas, enjoy a cool drink and soak in the fabulous views. Leticia was welcoming and a source for all things wonderful. Darwin was very attentive and made sure everything was always right with the home and surrounding areas. ”

“My family of 7 stayed here for a couple of days & we all loved it!!! It's a beautiful home & the views were amazing!! We even had a sloth in the tree not far from the patio. All the bedrooms had AC the beds & pillows were comfortable so we slept really well. The pool room was a big hit with the kids!! The communication with the host was great so we highly recommend the property.”
