We had a nice Overnight stay here. Room was perfect for myself and adult daughter. Queen bed and a king single, microwave, kettle, fridge and of coarse bathroom. David (I think the owner) was very welcoming and friendly. Rang him about 8pm for extra blankets and it was absolutely no problem. Would highly recommend staying here.

We are. in the outback you know...So it's not boutique but basic. Clean, budget, comforatbal, value for money and the food in the restaurant was cheap and tasty
Great value for money, friendly helpful staff. Their restaurant is the best. We were late arriving- no worries. We needed receipts and they were emailed to us with no problems. Highly recommend this property.
Loved everything about it - staff exceptional room was comfortable, laundry provided soap, and the food was great even though we had to eat by phone lights and car headlights as the power kept going off (not the properties fault)
Our stay was fantastic! The Ironbark was pet friendly and the room was so cosy and clean. It was nice having the restaurant on site as well. Check in a check out was a breeze.
When arrived nobody was in office had to search for an attendant, then put in a donger, expected a hotel room. The room was like 60 degrees, then after 20 minutes aircon wasn't efficient still too hot to sleep so given another room but the area stunk bed was uncomfortable and stains through the ceiling, tv wouldn't pick up channels, just a bit of a dump

Room was clean. Staff were pleasent. Wifi not able to be used in room. Air conditioner filter required clean for air con to function.
Just an overnight stay in a cabin and everything was so easy and relaxed. The meals at the attached steakhouse were incredible!! Way better than many city restaurants.
Old furniture, saggy uncomfortable bed and the vinyl chairs were cracked and warped. The bathroom basin was crazed and cracked and the plug was solid and no longer fitted the plug hole. The shower was hot and refreshing.
When we arrived the young girl at the reception was pretty blunt and wasn't very welcoming, not a good start given we had been on the road all day driving. We obtained our room key and went to inspect our room. Fridge had not been switched on in anticipation of our arrival, fridge had mould inside, bathroom light did not work (went to reception to advise, chef said he does the maintenance and would be down soon, we never saw anyone), animal hair in bedding, pacifier found in bedding of one bed, power went out for 20 minutes about 30 minutes after our arrival. General cleanliness was lacking. I wouldonly stay here again if all other places were booked out and it was my last resort.
Apparently hygienically cleaned and sealed toilet but bowl covered in gecko poo and lifting seat the underside was covered in urine splash. In 40 deg heat, it took forever for the air conditioning to cool the small room. It was obvious the room had not been vacced after prior guest. In general - rundown
We arrived at the Ironbark after a 7 hour drive, the young lady at reception was very friendly. Were informed that the motel restaurant was closed. First impression of our room wasn't good, the table and path outside was covered in dirt and leaves. The room was tidy enough, however the bathroom light didn't work and there was no milk for coffee. We were also charged for an extra child but there was no extra bed or sofa, so they had to share a single bed anyway. Not worth $130 a night.
Myself and my three daughters had the family room which consisted of a double and three single beds and a cot. There were facilities for toast and tea making and a microwave.
The pool was just next door and open until 10pm. A laundry was available and machines were not coin operated which was a nice touch thank you.
The restaurant looked like a shelters shed it was lovely. Staff were helpful room service was quick.
Will definitely stay there again.

Nice enough but don't expect any smiles
Nice enough hotel although a little outdated. The girl doing the check in and later taking the orders at the bistro must have been having a bad day or not enjoying her job. Very unfriendly and humourless. Standard pub fare at the restaurant.
When checking in asked about the restaurant was was told it was closed and no alternative was offered , there is an A frame board out the front of the motel advertising the restaurant.
Will not be back
