Located in the centre of Eixample, a central, quiet and safe area that is also active and attractive in Barcelona. VERY accommodating staff. My mother arrived several days earlier than we originally booked, and the apartment was available, so they allowed us to rent it extra days, and let her have early check in, which was VERY appreciated. I rent alot of apartments in Europe, and have requirements which this apartment met them all. Elevator- small but functional and necessary for my mom. Kitchen had a nice coffee maker, good size fridge (by European standards), stove/oven/microwave all work well, adequate pots, pans, and utensils. Endless supply of HOT water for 8 people to shower every day. 2 bathrooms sinks, toilets, and showers. However one of the bathrooms is so small that the shower is not even usable. I am 5'6" and 130 pounds, and I really tried to use it, but after one attempt by me, nobody else used it for the whole week. The extra sink and toilet were nice to have for an average sized person, however it would be impossible for a large person to use. Overall, the apartment was wonderful for our family of 8- my 66-year-old mother, my husband and me and our 5 children ages 12-20\. While we are NOT a rowdy bunch, I felt comfortable that we didn't have to tip-toe around and whisper, and likewise, we didn't hear the neighbors much either. I would rent it again ##### Amy N. Location is great (right in front of a subway station which is only three stops apart from the Liceu station) and it's pretty spacious apartment, but the owner needs to take care of cleaning and maintaining the house. Spacious apartment in the heart of Barcelona, a friend and I spend 5 nights at Luis apartment, the place is big with a well equipped kitchen and the basic necessities for a pleasant stay, although it has 2 bathrooms one is really not usable it is so small that only a small child can use the shower or toilet because of the space, I've never seeing a bathroom that small , on the second day of our stay we received an unannounced visit while we were in the apartment from Luis mother whom just rang the bell and came inside the place, she said she was bringing some silverware I told her I will take them but she insisted in coming inside and check the place I have stay on Homeaway properties all over the world and this was a first, I felt like an invasion of our privacy and that it was more to check on us, we had already met the agent on our arrival and gone over the rules of the apartment.
