"The whole hotel is in bad shape. The room smells of a lot of humidity, and the toilet was leaking all day long.
The so-called gym (one of the reasons why I've chosen this hotel) only offers a couple of treadmills and some rusty dumbbells.
The swimming pool was clean, but the staff at the swimming pool was not helpful or welcoming enough. I didn't know where to get the towels, or if I could order food from the swimming pool and charge it to my room. There were 2 staff there, but only checking their phones.
The receptionist can be more welcoming. In any other hotel, you get information about the breakfast location and time, but in here, they just direct you to your room.
The electricity in my room went down on my last night (no electricity at all), and after 30 minutes waiting, the receptionist, with a very annoyed face, sent me to a different room. I had to pack all my stuff in the dark to move to a new room, which was in worse shape than my original room. The new room I've got allocated was full of moisture, the toilet was also leaking, and the carpet was humid.
Breakfast: fair enough. The staff was helpful, but the manager was angry all the time.
Location is great, I would say this is the only pro.
Conclusion: I would never stay here, as the price is just USD$10 cheaper than the Pullman or Hilton, which will definitely offer you a better stay."
