I stayed in the Steampunk room at Book Nook Inn. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and had a great steampunk vibe. David and Stacie were great hosts. Stacie served delicious breakfasts.

Warm and Cozy

We had a pleasant stay at the inn. The food was delicious! The hosts were friendly and engaging. The room was large and comfortable and they even had chocolates for the guests. The Halloween decorations were great and there were a lot of books from which to choose if one so wanted.

It is a home away from home. Arrived this afternoon and had a great visit with the owner. Wonderful people. Comphy large room with everything you need and then some. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow morning.

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the pool bunk room and the lower area king bed was so soft and felt like it gave us a hug. There is a loft area up a ladder that also had a bed, but we did not use it. We had a kuerig with coffee pods and bottled water and a microwave and small sink in the room. The tub/shower fits two people. The Book Nook inn is a true to style Bed&Breakfast that feels like you are visiting a friend’s home. Albeit a very large and cool house with nooks and interesting items and decor. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
On the property, behind the Inn is a quiet pond.

Very lovely property with a great bed and breakfast vibe. We stayed in the pool cabin and the loft was lots of fun. Breakfast was delicious and host was accommodating of gluten free and vegan dietary restrictions.

Unique & cozy stay in SE TX

Very eclectic and unique property. Owner was very thoughtful, friendly, & welcoming. Stayed in the top floor in the Steampunk themed room. Wonderful breakfast, hospitality, and many resources available to us in the main house. Issues were generally minor- hot water took a long time to kick in, no record from Hotels.com of our reservation but fortunately had available rooms. The interior areas were cozy, themed, with a warm, creative vibe. The exterior was the one area that appeared to need significant repairs and upkeep but don’t judge the Booknook by its cover we’d definitely stay here again :)

Great Bed and Breakfast off the beaten path. Very unique rooms, unlike any others, with a cinema room, and billiard room with puzzles and boardgames as well. Books as high as you can see and just a great place to get away from it all. David and Stacie were delightful and made you feel like old friends. Definitely looking forward to staying again soon.

This is a very unique place. Located along a country road in a rural part north of Beaumont Texas. Property is well maintained and the host are very accommodating. I would highly recommend this as an option over a chain hotel. Probably not the most kid friendly place as the gathering spots are designed for a quiet, book loving, nature loving, adult clientele. We will definitely be back.
