Good for pit stop

It’s good for an overnight day and all we need it for the night. The room has very weird smell bu we weren’t fussy about it because it’s just one night stay. The room has decent size and only a couple of minutes to drive to the shops.

South Town Bega Motel

Just recently renovated, everything was updated, clean and shiny. Good size room with comfortable bed and the lighting was excellent. Some motel rooms are so dark! TV reception was terrible but probably not their fault. Did need more towel rails in the bathroom. Local info on where to eat would have been welcome.

Weekend stay for business.

Overall the room was comfortable and reasonably clean. You could not see through the glass doors on the wardrobe, they were so grubby with fingerprints everywhere and stains on the lounge, probably could do with a good steam clean. Even though it was summer, the pool looked like it could do with a good clean. I did not have a spare toilet roll. I know it was the weekend, but the office was not open, and I could not ask for extra coffee or the toilet paper. I had to leave around 10.00am each morning but thought the office would be open by that time. I did not see any cleaners or staff after I checked in. Parking is a little tight, not a lot of room. The hotel is not right in town, but you can walk, about 15-20 mins. I would stay again, only a few minor issues and the pricing is reasonable for a motel room.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately, the reception was not manned when I arrived there at 5:00pm, despite the sign. A text message told me how to get my room key from a secured box. Although breakfast was available, there was no menu in the room, and nowhere to take it as the reception was not open. The television did not work (probably because the remote had flat batteries). Again no one to help with this. Perhaps it was fortunate because the TV was on an angle of about 15 degrees! Parking was totally insufficient. About 7:00pm, another resident came to my room and asked if I could move my car from my space, so he could back out of his space safely. Although the photos matched the motel, the service effectively did not exist. I could not recommend this motel based on my experience.

While the staff were very friendly and accommodating, my overall experience was disappointing. Upon collecting the keys, I walked into reception and was immediately met with a strong curry odor, which was quite unpleasant. Unfortunately, my room was located right next to reception, and the smell had permeated the space, making it difficult for me and my fellow travelers to relax. I had to sleep with the window open, which meant dealing with noise from passing pedestrians, and my companions couldn’t do the same because their window screen was broken. Additionally, there was no designated parking spot for my room and no mini refrigerator provided. To their credit, the staff did assist in resolving both issues, which I appreciated. However, after an eight-hour drive from Melbourne, I expected a more comfortable stay. Overall, I was very disappointed.

Good to be able to park our caravan up for the evening as we were coming home with extra passengers so we needed a motel room. Very small basic place but did the job we needed for a one night stop over.

I would of been a whole lot better if they put us up in back rooms that weren’t being used only 2at front away from the main road going back on the highway Overall disappointed with my selection next time I’m trying Bega Motel same price and see what happens Got hardly any sleep at all back home now after 3 hours drive and disappointed in what I got for $169 I’ll be shopping around a bit harder next time believe me

Why say you can get breakfast and dinner but you cant. When paying your bill you go to give them your card and thay have already taken it out if your account, so that is not paying for it when you get there. Office hours are only from 7.30 to 9.30am so if you bget there after 2pm there is no one there.
