"A very nice and relaxing stay. The staff were polite and welcoming on check in, and our apartment was located on the top floor overlooking Port Stephens bay. As it's winter the indoor pool and spa area were perfect. The Ramada is directly across from water with Shoal Bay Country Club right next door. The Game Fish Club and other restaurants and cafes are near by. "

"Rydges Newscasts is a beautiful modern hotel, central to everything on the waterfront. I had a free night to use that covered the stay and it was a wonderful treat. Our room was a suite on level 3, beautifully appointed with an outlook over the harbour. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant with a happy hour between 4 to 6 that had a variety of affordable beer, wine and cocktails to select. in the hotel, valet parking was $35. All hotel staff were professional, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend for a special occasion. "
