“We were walking the wales coast path and had not factored in the demand around Cardiff for accommodation when concerts are on. The student accommodation was the only reasonable priced option we could get for the weekend ( still more expensive than a premier inn) The main issue was heat, the room was very warm, a fan was provided but the window is only open a few issues (H&S) therefore circulating warm air. “Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)).
