"This place is awesome! Very nice villa with amazing sunsets. We really enjoyed staying here but have a few tips for others. We were met by Johnathan who gave us a quick tour of the villa and gave us the keys/remote. We went outside to check out the view and shut the sliding glass door behind us. Here’s the tip. The sliding glass doors lock when you close them. We closed them with the keys and cell phones inside! We were locked out. Luckily we remembered a portion of the front door code and eventually made it in. From then on we used a plastic fork (the stick) to keep it open slightly so it didn’t lock us out again. Highly recommended the stick!There were 2 issues we didn’t see in other reviews. The villa is above a highway and the sound of semis engine breaking can be heard with the pool fountain off. Also, there are houses on the side of the highway below. One of the houses was blaring music most days that’s heard from the backyard.Regardless, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa. There’s a hotel next door with stairs from the villa to the hotel that made it easy to grab a bite with the same view. We loved our stay and you will too!"

"We enjoyed an excellent stay at Hotel Evasion. Located in a beautiful rainforest setting, our room was clean, modern and comfortable and overlooked a lovely swimming pool which we used daily during our stay. The hotel itself is within easy reach of Ojochal, Uvita, Sierpe and nearby beaches. Would highly recommend this hotel. "
