"A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. "We had a great time in Rifflet. The house is located at a wonderful beach with only few other visitors. The beach ist very good for swimming and the view from the terrace is wonderful and we enjoyed the sunsets from there. The house is simple but spacious and well equipped."

"Great place to stay. Philippe, the host was kind and responsive to our requsts. Even drove halfway around the island to get us coffee filters. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"
