We took advantage of the membership at the Wheel Inn and had surf and turf for dinner. Delicious! We drove about a half hour to go hiking at Mt. Pisgah County Park. We hiked the Ridge Trail to the Ledge Trail to some beautiful viewpoints. The address listed was wrong and the only way we found it was from a picture. There was A/C, so that was accurate, but the window unit was in the closet and not hooked up. Couldnt open the upstairs windows to let the heat out because there were no screens but it didnt matter, the windows wouldn't stay open anyway. Unfortunately we were unable to cook a meal in the kitchen with food stuffs we’d purchased in town because the stove did not work. Neither could we find a microwave to help. This was disappointing. The refrigerator did work so nothing went bad.
