Lovely corner of the Calakmul Biosphere

This hotel is about 7 months old, and they are on their way but not quite there yet. First, the rooms and hotel are beautiful. Rooms are spacious, tasteful, and have balconies looking out on the jungle. The pool area and common areas are similarly lovely. You are an hour and a half from the main highway, so completely at the mercy of the restaurant on site. The servers are by and large very friendly but they seem overwhelmed. Service takes a long time. The hotel should offer a cafe, maybe at the pool side bar, where guests can get quick, less complex snacks and sandwiches. Also, they ran out of fundamental ingredients like milk for the coffee and lime/ lemon for margaritas. We did some walking/ driving up the Road to see wildlife. However, if you are interested in some of the archaeological sites that are lesser known, it might be better to limit your stay at Munro Maya and find a hotel in Xpujil. We thought we were doing that but the Hotels.com link shows the hotel in the wrong place.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt im Jungle . Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat große Zimmer mit Balkon . Das Essen und die Getränke sind gut und nicht zu teuer . Es gibt mehrere Pools . Zu den Ruinen fährt man dann noch 10 km .

Un lugar excepcional en cuanto a belleza tanto de las instalaciones como su entorno desbordante de naturaleza!! Lo único que recomiendo es que si tienen presupuesto limitado traigan provisiones porque no hay donde hacer compras y los precios de comidas y bebidas son un poco elevados pero me súper encantó la experiencia!!!

Muy bueno, revisando unos detalles pequeños como la caja fuerte que no abrio, no habia toalla de piso y la ducha estaba tapada estuvo espectacular, se le comentaron al hotel para que los atendiera y si siguieron los comentarios estoy segura que sera una estadia muy buena

J'ai aimé : le seul hôtel proche du site archéologique. Nous sommes à plus de 70 km de Xupjil - Il faut donc prévoir Eau + en-cas car il n'y a aucun commerces aux alentours. Magnifique hôtel en pleine jungle "cadre somptueux" Grand piscine sur le roof top Obligatoire prévoir un antimoustique nous sommes en pleine jungle !! Parking privé Service au restaurant : un peu lent mais serveur aimable. Meilleure alternative pour une visite matinale sur le site archéologique. Je recommande cet hôtel

It's a beautiful hotel with a great staff. The service in the restaurant was a little slow, but the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the indigenous items on the menu. Lastly, they need to stock a better selection of wines in the restaurant. I hope to return one day soon.

Meilleur hôtel pour visiter calakmul

Superbe hôtel à 10mn du site de calakmul. Incroyable de trouver un tel hôtel dans un coin aussi perdu! Chambre spacieuse décorée avec goût. Seul petit bémol dans cet hôtel: la qualité de la restauration qui ne concorde pas avec le reste des prestations. L'hôtel est récent, espérons qu'ils fassent des progrès de ce côté dans les mois à venir.

Pros: muy bonito diseño y calidad de materiales, camas muy cómodas en habitaciones de lujo con mármol y detalles decorativos modernos pero acogedores. La atención es excelente en cuanto a amabilidad y trato. La cocina es espectacular, sobrepasó las expectativas, mi esposa es chef y yo tengo toda la vida en la industria de los alimentos y nos encantó. Conocimos al chef Eduardo y muy amable nos explicó su concepto, ingredientes frescos y de calidad de la región. Regresaremos pronto. La atención de Daniel en recepción muy buena, nos consiguió un excelente guía de nombre Antonio, que sabe un mundo y nos llevó a un recorrido muy bonito en la zona arqueológica de Calakmul y al día siguiente en Balamkú. Los masajes con Beatriz excelentes, muy profesional y realmente sanadores. Contras: Falta algo de organización en el personal aún, pero se compensa con actitud, recomiendo no ir con prisas y más bien relajarse, ya que es el sitio ideal para ello rodeado de tanta naturaleza. A pesar de ser nuevo, tiene ya algunos detalles de mantenimiento, no sirve algún ascensor para ir a la alberca, ni funcionan las máquinas de hielo. Aún así vale mucho la pena por la experiencia y la relación calidad precio, tanto que regresaremos pronto, ahora solo a relajarnos.

Excelente por estar en la selva y cerca de la zona Arqueológica. La atención de Lobby es excelente!!! La COCINA DEL RESTAURANTE ES MUY MALA Y LA ATENCIÓN DE MESEROS ES MALÍSIMA!!!!! El único pero del Hotel es el restaurante y que se acaban los productos en venta en la tienda del hotel (botana etc)

Good if you must stay inside Calakmul reserve

Hotel is 2 hours drive away from location stated in Hotels.com, was a very nasty surprise. Hotel is built nicely, grant ceiling. But I am shocked that 4 month after opening shower tips are already rusty. Toilet kept producing smell, that spreader into the room. These tiny details negatively affect perception of overall beautifully designed space. Service is quite slow, seems like they are not yet set up well operationally. Bringing a bottle of water at the pool took over 15 mins. At the restaurant each role is separated, 1 sits you down, 2nd brings menu, 3rd takes order, 4h brings the order, 5th brings the bill. And you come to 6th person to pay by card. I was eating at not busy time, maybe that’s the reason. But actually I had to remind them of my existence

Espectacular!!! Considero un precio justo por lo bonito que esta el hotel. Sin embargo, una area de oportunidad que considero tienen es el tema de alimentos y bebidas. Es limitado, las porciones pequeñas y algo costosas. Deberian tener la opción de incluir alimentos para todos los huespedes. Ya que durante mi estancia ofrecieron servicio de buffete a un grupo de extranjeros, pero los demas huespedes no podiamos acceder a ello, ni con costo extra.
