Canmore is an old mining town & train tracks pass through the middle of town & most hotels in Bow Valley Trail back into the train tracks. If you would have informed the front desk about the situation we could have definitely moved you to the road side which is much quieter. What my understanding from your stay is when you made reservation for 4 guests & ended up showing with 6 guests, we had to charge the extra guest fees as room rates are based on number of guest staying. Temperature control for the AC is done on the unit itself not on the wall, we have notes on the thermostat to use the unit controls.
