Car Rental Ciqikou

Once you've ticked off the interesting sights in Ciqikou, there's heaps more to discover in the surrounding region. Collect the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and hit the road. Here are some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• Yongchuan is approximately 40 miles from Ciqikou. Famous tourist attractions like Wangxian Park deserve to be high on your list here.
• Roughly 85 miles away, Suining is also a hit with wanderers. Be sure to take in Guangde Temple while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this colorful city.
• Get out into the great outdoors and take in the serenity at Qiangling Shan Park. It's approximately 210 miles from Ciqikou.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in China, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before driving away. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with a rental vehicle.
