Car Rental Departure Bay

Departure Bay is full of surprises, but don't limit yourself to one place. Arrange a set of wheels and hit the open road to explore the wider region. Here are some great options we've come up with:

• Head off to Victoria for a fun-filled sightseeing adventure. Roughly 60 miles from Departure Bay, it has numerous great attractions like British Columbia Parliament Building.
• Next stop? White Rock, which is around 55 miles away. White Rock Pier is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Make your way to Skaha Beach to reconnect with nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Departure Bay, it's 200 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Canada, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some additional requirements to rent a car internationally are:
