Futian is full of surprises, but don't restrict yourself to just the one place. Organize a set of wheels and head off to see what's in the wider region. Here are some great options:

• Head to Macau for an excellent sightseeing adventure. Around 40 miles from Futian, it has lots of inspiring attractions such as Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral.
• Why not enjoy all that's on offer in Guangzhou too? Unmissable tourist attractions here include Canton Fair Complex. Guangzhou is roughly 65 miles from Futian.
• Visit Danxia National Park for a day out in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Futian, it's about 170 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in China, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well.
