Car Rental Hlaing

Hlaing offers adventures galore, but don't restrict yourself to one place. Grab a set of wheels and hit the road to see what else awaits in the surrounding area. These are some great options:

• You'll discover Kanbawzathadi Palace and loads of other intriguing sights in Bago. From Hlaing, it's approximately 50 miles away.
• Why not see the best of Pathein too? Top tourist attractions to see here include Shwemokhtaw Pagoda. Pathein is roughly 90 miles from Hlaing.
• Ngapali Beach is approximately 160 miles from Hlaing and is one of the region's most scenic nature spots. Go for a walk around and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Myanmar, then you may need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
