After you've ticked off the amazing sights in Holyland, there's loads more to discover in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, throw your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. We've come up with some road trips we know you'll enjoy:

• You'll discover Gordon Beach and countless other amazing attractions in Tel Aviv. From Holyland, it's approximately 30 miles away.
• Approximately 45 miles away, Netanya is also popular with travelers. Be sure to take in Kiryat Sanz Beach while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this thriving city.
• Princess Beach is 160 miles from Holyland and is one of the region's most scenic nature spots. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Israel, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:
