Car Rental Kanaya

After you've been to all of the great attractions in Kanaya, there's loads more to discover in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. We've come up with some road trips we're confident you'll enjoy:

• You'll discover Nagoya Castle and loads of other intriguing attractions in Nagoya. From Kanaya, it's 110 miles away.
• Your next pit stop? Nagano, which is around 55 miles away. Nagano Olympic Stadium is one local highlight you shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the great outdoors and appreciate the serenity at Tokyo Skytree. It's about 160 miles from Kanaya.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Japan, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some additional requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before driving away. You typically can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or off road with a rental car.
