The Edge has plenty to keep you on the move, but don't restrict yourself to one place. Grab a set of wheels and take to the road to explore the wider area. Here are a few places to choose from:

• You'll discover Aberdeen Mall and countless other amazing attractions in Kamloops. From The Edge, it's around 90 miles away.
• Approximately 40 miles away, Mount Baldy is also popular with wanderers. Set aside time to take in Mount Baldy Ski Area while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this vibrant city.
• Upper Hot Springs is located 180 miles from The Edge and is one of the region's most scenic nature spots. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Canada, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some added requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
