“Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus ! Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe. Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code. Not ideal ….……

“We had a lovely time. Very quiet rural setting. Good but "gnarly" uphill dog walk from the door on a footpath. The road was narrow winding with no pavement so you needed to go by car to go anywhere else.We could have done with some written instructions for some of the appliances (which were all very good) but Helen could not have been more helpful. Bringing us fresh eggs from their hens and ducks was really nice and made us feel welcome. We were also provided with milk, butter, bread and……

“This could be a lovely property & appears to have been recently renovated to a good standard. However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge. Although the host was very responsive, this was only after chasing check-in details the day before our……
