"L'Effraie des Clochers" is part of an old Breton Farm. The cottage, originally a cider press, has been completely renovated (July 2018) to provide luxurious accommodation for up to 4 people.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet only 10kms to the nearby, sandy beaches of Saint Anne la Palud & Kervel, we are ideally situated to explore the many beautiful attractions of Finistere.
The rear of the property has far reaching countryside views towards Menez Hom. The beautiful village of Locronan (voted the 2nd most beautiful village in France in 2015) is only a short 7 min drive away!
The medieval city of Quimper, the spectacular Crozon Peninsula, Cap Sizun, Pointe du Raz (western most tip of France), Pont Aven, Audierne, the Chateau de Treverez are all within easy reach.
We are a 45 min drive, from Brest airport and 1hour 15 mins from Roscoff, and 2 1/2 hrs from Saint Malo and Dinard.

Outside, to the rear, the cottage, has it's own private fenced garden area, patio furniture, paved patio area and barbecue. Enjoy an evening glass of wine & the spectacular sunsets, over Menez Hom.
There are large landscaped grounds to explore, which include a Japanese style garden & pond, a boules court area, hanging basket style chairs, outdoor table tennis, and an indoor games room, which includes a play area for young children and games for older children/adults including badminton, table football and darts.

Inside, the lounge/diner and kitchen are open plan, with 4 metre high ceilings, original beams and exposed stone feature wall. The cottage is fully equipped with all that you might need for everyday living, including a TV (French & English channels), excellent Wifi connection, electric oven, gas hob, large fridge freezer, microwave, coffee pod machine, dish washer & washing machine. Double french doors are to the front & rear, and the original cider press has been retained and restored.
Upstairs, the bathroom has a large 1200 x 800 shower, complete with rain shower head & additional hand held shower wand, and an Italian style sink with waterfall tap.

Bedroom 1, has a large king size bed, triple wardrobe, beautiful floor length windows, with Juliet balcony, original beams and exposed stone feature wall and overlooks the front of the property.
Bedroom 2, with original beams, has two singles beds.
All the rooms are large, luxurious and airy and top quality bedding and towels are provided!

Children are very welcome & travel cots, baby baths, mats, bedding, high chairs, stair gates are available.
A selection of toys, games, DVD's, magazines, tourist information and welcome pack are also provided.
Towels (inc. beach towels), bedding, heating, gas, electric and taxe de sejour are all included in the price.
