Beautiful frescoes in the crypt of the the church of the Matrice Vecchio in Castel Buono. Most people just go to the castle but this church is worth a visit. The crypt is covered in Frecoes showing the cruxifixction, the death and the resurrection of Christ.

"This is the perfect place to forget about everything from your everyday life when you go on holidays. Beautiful, very quiet on the top of the hill. The views are breathtaking at each moment of the day. The swimming pool iis juts amazing! The region is not so crowdy with tourists, you will find everything you need in the area. "This is a great place to stay. Amazing setting in the foothills. Swimming pool is off the charts. We were just passing through but I can imagine this being an excellent venue for a wedding or similar occasions. Can't rate the location and staff highly enough."
