"This hotel was rated highly and priced as though it was a high end property - it is not. It is an ancient chateau remodeled into a 1970s motel with amateur carpentry. Upon arrival the manager attempted to upsell us on-site breakfast and booking a dinner reservation through her website instead of showing us to our room. Our room was surprising, as it was not attractive or comfortable. There was a giant space heater to be plugged in because the proprietor turns off the heat at night - in December! The bathroom door was an ill fitting rolling door that did not provide privacy. We were happy to check out the next day. I could not recommend this hotel."

"This was a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the best view of the mountain from right outside the kitchen window perfectly framed. The peace seeps into you and you will sleep better than you have in years. The interior of the property is stellar. The bedrooms have nothing but natural products in them with the bedding. The wood floors give you warmth. The front living area is warm and inviting while still being modern. The place is easy to get to. You will travel for a minute along a dirt road as you drive up to it. The property itself is full of fruit trees and plants that promote a sense of well being. This isn't just a stay, it's an entire experience. With love and peace. "

"The building is old but our room was big and nicely updated. The hosts were very kind and secure storage for our bikes was no problem."

"We had a beautiful, large room with a canopy bed. All the furniture was elegant and antique in style. We had a huge bathroom with double sinks. The room came with robe and slippers. Our room was on the second floor reached by a spiral stone staircase. They brought our luggage to the room. Dinner is available and we enjoyed our meal in a stone walled room. Breakfast was served there too. It has a lovely courtyard where they served drinks. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend staying here. "

"We had a great time at the house. It had everything that we needed in lovely surroundings with a great pool area. Easy access to Carcassonne and Limoux.The host was always to hand if we ever needed anything and when we met was very friendly and accomodating. We would definately recommend the house."

"If you want something a bit off the trail, quiet, includes everything you need, you want to stay with Annie Claude. We had a wonderful rest and able to visit the local attractions. We were able to sit outside until dark and entertained by their dogs and sheep."

"Érick was very welcoming and the house has so many facets so you could move around to chase or avoid the sun. Ten minute walk to nearest village for bread and restaurant. The house was very clean and with lots of equipment. Wild swimming in the river raised it all another notch. "
