“Great price and walking location. Did not realize this was a hostel. We had our own bathroom, but no shampoo, conditioner and towels were very worn out. They had one parking spot we could use. ”

“An absolutely stunning hotel with an authentic boutique Portuguese feel, in the perfect location, right by the beach. The restaurant had beautiful views of the beach and food was superb. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We just loved our stay at Chalet Ficalho! The building, grounds and decor all radiated old-world charm. The walled property nestled in a neighborhood felt like a private sanctuary. The staff are attentive, professional and accommodating. Everything here is just so pleasant, from the delightful breakfast on the patio to the private outdoor pool. Private parking is a bonus!”

“The location is prime, and the breakfast included is lovely with quaint service from the team. Beach umbrella and towels were offered no problem. The biggest challenge (depending on the room) is the garbage pick up just outside the hotel around 6am every morning - if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. We had the family room and space was great, in the absence of a balcony we loved little window to open and look out onto the street during the evening.”
