"We stayed 4 nights, 5 days at Golden Pineapple and wish we never had to leave. We felt right at home the whole time, from the minute Marlon picked us up from SJO. Marlon, Pablo, and Leo were seriously so sweet, friendly, and attentive the whole time. The property is beautiful and well maintained daily. If you choose to stay and relax the whole time you absolutely could with no complaints. They also help you accommodate any excursions or beach days if you like and will take you there for an extra cost. The food is delicious, you can choose to dine at their outdoor restaurant or room service. Everything we tried was amazing and the prices were fair. Gracias por todo! Siempre nos acordaremos de Uds con mucho cariño y nos vemos pronto! "
"We had a wonderful stay at El Faro. The location was perfect for our family. The beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are very close. The view from our balcony was amazing. We knew about climbing the hill beforehand and really didn’t think it was that bad (our ages were 58, 49, 48, 46, 15, 14, 12, and 11). The hotel staff helped bring up and down our luggage, so that wasn’t an issue, and a golf cart ride was easily available, whenever needed. We also really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning, and the hotel staff were very accommodating with booking tours and answering any questions we had during our stay. Beware of the capuchin monkeys. There is a reason they are called La Mafia. They are cool to watch… from a distance. I’d definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful house and property with cool breezes all day and night! We loved this house and our week in Uvita. It's got everything you need, and if you stumble upon anything you don't have the caretaker that lives a few minutes away will have it there in second. We felt very safe, and loved all the birds and wildlife. We even had a sloth hanging in a tree right by the pool. We became experts on driving the road and did so many wonderful things that Del recommended. Our highlight was probably the mangrove kayak tour. "

"We had an extraordinary stay in June! The house is so much nicer than the photos. We had wonderful views from almost every room of the jungle and ocean! We loved sitting on the porch watching the monkeys swinging through the trees in the evenings, and watching the colorful sunsets at night. We saw lots of toucans and many other little animals around the house often. Claire was very thoughtful as she cared enough to spend time when we asked questions. She gave us many suggestions and lots of helpful information about the area. It requires a 4x4 to drive the dirt road from the main highway to the house. The weather was quite hot when we were there so we were very glad to have the AC. There is an excellent AC in the downstairs bedroom. It was actually working so well that it cooled the entire downstairs area. The upstairs Master has a similar AC which worked great too. There are also plenty of extra fans. Consequently we were all very comfortable there. Uvita is an excellent area to be based in, there was so much to do, and this beautiful house made our trip that much better."

"Due to the rain we had a ton of bugs in the room. It was kinda gross. Otherwise things were great! Also the road up to the resort was very brutal. Luckily our driver was a good sport."
