"Having stayed in the hotel last year we noticed many improvements this year. Our room was fresher and the dining/breakfast room much improved. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor facilities which again appear well maintained. Breakfast was most improved experience although my only gripe was a slightly undercooked fried egg🙁, which in no way spoiled the overall experience. We look forward to returning in the future."

"Staff are great - rooms very good but need air con and our room was right next to an extractor pipe which started up at 6.30 am ! Breakfast was very good with poached or scrambled eggs to order . It was the same every day of our 3 breakfasts would be nice with a bit more variety. Ate in the main restaurant one night - food very good but not hot enough Pool area nice but in need of repair"

"The room was clean and had all the expected amenities. Room service was first class nothing was to difficult for them. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing to please. We had a sea view balcony and the view across the bay, over to Elizabeth Castle and St Aubins was breathtaking. Breakfast, plenty, and the choices!! Altogether, a wonderful place to stay"

"The Duke Hotel was lovely and in a great location. The restaurant served fantastic food and we ate there much more often then we have done in the past in other hotel restaurants. But above all the staff were absolutely brilliant. Professional but personable, and always willing to help with everything. The only slight negative was that the hotel had only 6 parking spaces so parking close to the hotel was not guarenteed. Despite this, I would highly the hotel and we are looking to go back there."

"everything was fantastic. the only small thing was no air con but a fan was provided and once we opened the window, it was cool enough but if it had AC then i would say 100/100. the food, the room, the cleanliness', the staff were all top grade. close to the town centre of everything too so location was just what we needed"
