"Very clean and modern looking hotel. It’s clear management cares about maintenance. And the staff was very professional and generous. They regularly asked if I wanted my room cleaned. Laundry service was also very quick and effortless. Overall quite impressed and would recommend to anyone staying in the Chau Doc area."

"This is a very clean property in a good area. One block from the river. The room was very spacious. Some music coming in from the outdoor venue opposite, but nothing problematic just be aware. Breakfast is available for five dollars with a nice selection. The hotel staff were very kind. When I didn’t arrive at a location that I was picking up a tour from on time they sent Ahmed to find me, and I jumped on the back of his motorbike, and apologized for being so tardy. The one thing I would mention is the room price was on my bill, and had I not checked my Expedia app. I may have paid for it twice, which would’ve been very frustrating. It’s a good hotel."

"There is a great write up in the recent Lonely Planet Guide about Murray Guesthouse being a wonderful addition to the Chau Doc accommodation options... a great guest lounge, roof terrace, bar, pool table and great breakfast. Sadly no longer... none of these exists! Instead we had a poor welcome, accusing us of having cancelled, the bedside lights didn't work, our friend had no toilet paper or a toilet that flushed. It is very cheap to stay there and it is clean, but that is it."
