“Gorgeous views. ”

“The property was just as advertised and just what we were looking for. We were close enough to everything, and just a few minutes away from Truckee and its restaurants and cafés. House is well laid out and on a quiet street, easily accessible. The host was exceptionally easy to deal with and answered all of our questions and was available for questions after check-in. All in all a great stay! The next time we go back up to visit family we will definitely stay again”

“The home is comfortable and warm for our 6 adult & 5 children's yearly winter fun. Hosts are responsive, helpful, prompt, and nice. Everything we need (except food & drink) are provided. We create and enjoy our own sled run on the property. We stay cozy inside playing games and being together creating memories.”

“Perfect place for a quick weekend away with my daughters. The cabin is very sweet and cozy, plenty of games, puzzles, legos to keep the kids entertained on a snowy day. Fun backyard to play in the snow and super close to Donner ski ranch and Truckee. We will definitely be back for another stay. Maybe next time in the summer ”

“Overall the rental met all the needs for our trip. It was a cozy house in a great location with great view of donner lake. Love the balcony. However the upstairs loft was not as clean as wanted. The bed upstairs was stained with pet markings and smelled a little musky. But other than that, the rental met our needs. Another issue we did face was the parking. Initially the instructions for parking was not clear and we had to call vacasa to verify where to park. It was completely different from the……

“Spacious and well-stocked house. The shuttle to the Palisades base was always very quick to respond. Kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms.”

“We spent 3 nights with our adult children. Cozy cabin with plenty of room. Well laid out. Everything we needed for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner. Easy walk to lake and to the Pub. Everything we were hoping for. (A particularly cool cafe style microwave oven). Would love to come back. Things to know…there were hairdryers in two bathrooms although we were told there were none. Towels were stingy. In “our” bathroom, we had 2 large towels, 1 small and 1 wash cloth. The management company couldn’t……

“We loved this spot. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from Palisades resort, less than 15 to Tahoe City and Truckee, and maybe 45 to Reno-Tahoe airport. So convenient! The living room is cozy, and it has a well-equipped kitchen for basic cooking needs as well as two comfy bedrooms. The cabin is up a hill from a main road, and the driveway is easy to miss, so go slow when you are getting close. The driveway is steep, so if it is icy, you may have to park at the bottom and walk up. We had no……

“Everyone had a great time loved the house only complaint was windows they were not allowed to be open upstairs and the room with the pool table was extremely hot it would have been nice if we could have opened the window ”

“The Cozy Cabin was exactly that. Beautiful surroundings and easy to locate. My family and I had plans to ski at Soda Springs for the weekend, which was a short 30 minutes to the hill, which worked out perfectly. Out of the hustle and bustle of traffic and a quiet retreat.
