"Absolutely the perfect spot. The hosts Rick and Chris are very sweet and communicative. The house itself is well thought out and has all the things you could possibly think of. Sitting out on the back patio, drinking a cup of coffee and listening to the birds was perfect!"

"The smell of the many trees surrounding the property was invigorating. While there are neighboring properties within eyesight, and the owners live on site, our experience was very peaceful. From what the owner told me upon our arrival Spring might be the best time to visit when everything is blooming. The grounds had a Wintertime dead look while we stayed over Christmas. The unit was comfortably furnished, and wood was provided for the stove. The only negative thing I have to say about the terms...

"Had a great weekend stay in this cabin right on dinner pass road. Lots of big bedrooms to accommodate children and adults. Only are for improvement would be to provide more than one roll of toilet paper and also there was only one trash bag in the whole place for us to use. Other than that everything was great! Especially thankful for Jonathan our property nanager for coming by to check some things with the heat and furnace on a Friday night."

"Secluded location , the drive is rough on a car little worse than described. Also the garden was not a garden and not usable the swimming hone is anbit of a drive to get to. Otherwise it is an amazing place"

"We were unable to find the property and had no response from the host after an email regarding conflicting emails with two different check in times. We were on a wild goose chase with our navigation leading us to 3 different areas all with either a dead end road or locked gate! Frustrating- Would recommend no one to rent this place in the future! also would recommend Vrbo/expedia have a way to contact host directly for times like this!"

"This cute cabin was meticulously decorated with "lake-venture" deco and had extremely comfortable furniture and bedding to accommodate all age groups (kids/teens/adults). We had every amenity necessary from kitchenware to laundry detergent. The kayaks and paddle boards made this an amazingly fun reunion for us on this beautiful lake!"

"It was a large place that accommodated all of us as a family. Very clean. Uodated kitchen. Youll need wood to use fireplace and 2 tvs but not useable unless u have other devices. Would be nice to gave basic cable.located in central area. Really enjoyed with grandbabies and great grands."

"We stayed for two nights and thought that the place is super cute, clean, comfortable, and apart from being sandwiched between two fairly busy roads, was in a great location! 315 is the lower apartment and is probably a little quieter from traffic than the above apartment. The decks are wonderful with the creek nearby. A wonderful find."

"Had a great spring skiing week at Palisades Tahoe. The property has some age but mostly maintained well. Our small one bedroom timeshare condo is tight with an odd layout: access from the public balcony hallway at the bedroom side. Two sharing one bed can get by but any need to use the sofa bed would leave no elbow/leg room. The same can be said of the outdoor hot tubs but the vibe was generally cheery with the good spring weather. The staff are helpful and low key. "

"This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! "
