“A lovely cabin sets in rural Cornwall perfect for a getaway. We love the quiet atmosphere and waking up to the sound of sheep. Historic and sightseeing places are within a 30mn drive. We walked from the cabin to St Clether Holy Well (discovering other public pathway along the way). Be prepared to walk a little from the driveway where you park your car to the cabin (minding the ducks ☺️) There's no WiFi but it was fine by us: it's a nice way to unplug from it all and reconnect with nature.”

“Had a week away with a couple of days working thrown in and this was the perfect base to get my work done and also be able to enjoy some time exploring etc. All in all a perfect stay in a great location.”

“We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in.”

“Enjoyed our stay Cottage had everything we needed plus a good view to boot Met when we arrived and shown through all we needed. When we were there there was work being done which is good to see that they are always looking to improve. That said you wouldn’t know a builder was there as they were very quiet and reserved. Dog walk field a little squelchy, but nothing you wouldn’t expect with the weather at this time of year. Thanks for having us. On our list of places we will look to return to.”

“If you found fault with this property you would be nitpicking. Perfectly located within easy walking distance to the beach, Coastal walks, and the town. Fabulous history associated with the Manor make it even more interesting. Simply loved it.”

“Can't thank Jez and Lou enough for their warm hospitality. The cottage is perfectly located, facilities are brillaint and lots of lovely touches like an honesty fridge by the pool and fresh wildflowers on arrival in the cottage. Will defintely be returning.”

“The house is nicely decorated and was very clean. We only had to get rid of a large number of spiders, but that was due to our arachnophobia. It is a place where one can really calm down and relax and it´s great that dogs are allowed. We enjoyed walking along the coast and down to the "beach" where we saw some quite "dramatic" sunsets. The only downside was, that the 2 lower bedrooms were damp so that we needed to keep dehumidifiers running. But still one of the bedrooms had a quite unpleasant……

“Myself and my 2 children (10 &14) had a lovely stay at Rosie's cottage. The cottage was clean, beds were comfy, everything you need in the kitchen. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and could be used whenever we wanted. The peacocks in the garden kept my youngest occupied along with the trampoline. The cottage is close enough to Bideford, Westward Ho etc but out of the way in a small village. The hosts were very welcoming and were on hand if……

Despite some wet and wild weather we had a fabulous time thanks to the spacious, modern, well equipped and comfortable property that had everything we needed and was ideal for our group of adults, teens, younger children & dogs. “The Golden Bay holiday park is in a wonderful location, close to the sea and the town centre, and its very quiet, hard to beat anywhere else in Westward Ho! Early vibes had been poor. At 7pm before the day of our arrival I had to remind our “premier?” Host for some arrival instructions, which we received shortly afterwards with an apology and an instruction to bring towels (bath, beach, hand and tea), loo rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, hand soap and bin liners! We would also need to……
