JUST 3 MILES FROM TEXAS A&M CAMPUS! Perfect place to hang with your family and friends for graduations, game days, parents' weekends, new student conferences, etc.

The Howdy Half-Acre has quick access to Texas Avenue and Hwy 6, yet sits on a half acre with oak trees, bordered with a creek and a green belt for peace and quiet.

Living area features TWO full couches and a dining table that seats 8. And the back deck has 10 deck chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings watching and listening to all the birds; or later in the day to enjoy the shade and tranquility of the huge oak trees.

Kitchen has granite counter tops and is fully outfitted with coffee and 2 coffee pots (a lovely selection of K-cups or a full pot), George Foreman Grill, toaster, microwave, cookware, utensils, crock pot, blender, and a COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WINE from Messina Hof, the local winery.
BREAKFAST is also provided -- waffles and fruit in the freezer; yogurt in the refrigerator; and pancake mix, Kind bars, and oatmeal in the pantry.

NEW 4-burner propane grill with all the tools!

Bathrooms have granite counter tops, tile floors, luxurious towels.

The "Legacy Room" features a king-size Sleep Number Bed, 2 end tables and lamps, an upholstered chair, and a desk with chair. It features canvasses depicting the 4 generations of Aggies in our family. Sliding glass doors open onto the back deck.

The "You are My Sunshine Room" has a luxurious queen bed with turquoise and butter yellow appointments.

The "Oak and Feather" room has two comfy twin beds. The photos hanging on the wall are just some of the numerous bird species we have seen while relaxing on the back deck.

Just right for family gathering!
Jane is the best hostess ever with the gift of hospitality! The home has all one needs to stay awhile and host a special celebration (graduation!) Jane thought of everything! Super happy and grateful! Especially love the back deck and huge yard space!

What a Treat! Cheers to Host!
This property was a perfect. The host was very responsive and very helpful. The new backyard deck was very large to sit and enjoy the nice size backyard. The kitchen was stock with treats as a nice surprise. Thank you for making my first VRBO experience enjoyable.

We celebrated a birthday with friends and family, and had a great time at the Aggie Half Acre. My daughter attends TAMU, (WHOOP!) and we had friends and family in town that stayed here. We had a great stay and will stay again. Jane was very reaponsive and accommodating, and the home is well appointed for what you need amd more. The beds are comfy, the space is comfy and clean, and the neighborhood is great. There is ample parking, and we felt very safe. Thank you, Jane for sharing your space and being a excellent host! We stayed for a weekend to attend the Troubedore Festival. Almost all of us were alum from A&M (all except my husband!) We had such a good time. The house fit all of our needs and the owners thought of everything. They had directions for when something may be in question and labels to help us locate and identify what we needed. As described, accurate photos. Very clean, well-maintained, well-provisioned home. No issues while we were there - everything worked and was labelled. Excellent communication, accommodating host. House at end of cul-de-sac with large, private backyard. Close to Kroger's & nice park nearby. Not close to campus, but very close to family for us. We had a great stay in College Station and a big part was the Howdy Half Acre. Communication was great and the house was the perfect set up. Location is great as its close to restaurants, shopping, and Kyle Field. Will stay here again next time we come into town for a game.

Welcome Respite
Our family was in town for a funeral. This home was the perfect place to recover at from a difficult weekend. The large living room, well appointed kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms were appreciated! The backyard is huge and peaceful. The owner has provided so many amenities that make you feel at home. It was nice to have laundry available too. The neighborhood is nice and quiet as well. Highly recommend!

The best rental we have stayed in
This property is amazing. She was so easy to work with. We rented for our Aggie daughters ring weekend. It was exact what we needed with the huge deck and big back yard. The house suited our family and friends so well who came to celebrate with her. All the rooms are so nice, the entire house was awesome and there wasn’t anything missing in the kitchen. She included breakfast and all kinds of coffees. We will definitely stay here again.

Howdy Half Acre was exactly as advertised. No disappointments. Nice neighborhood. Clean, quite home with nice backyard. We really appreciated the adult twin beds room. Usually the twin beds are kid style or bunks, not suitable for mature guest. These were just right for our group. We will definitely try to book again for our next College Station trip. And did I mention the complimentary bottle of wine? Also wonderful!

Great Place in Aggieland!
Great place to stay - clean, quiet, and roomy! After spending a day tailgating, cheering on the Aggies and enjoying College Station, this was a great place to retreat to each night. The house was fantastically decorated, clean and had all of the home essentials that one would need - our stay felt like home. We also had great communication and instructions which took out any guesswork when trying to figure out cleaning up and what to do as tenants. 10/10 would recommend! Gig’em!
