Ocean Breeze Villa: Oceanfront, Private Dock & Pool, Sleeps 16, Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"This property was just as described, and just what we were looking for. Unfortunately we had to make a few changes prior to our trip, none at the fault of the Host. Jerri was very understanding and worked with us without a problem. This was a great location for us, we wanted to be on the east side, but with having the Reef House Resort next door it was nice for our adult children we brought to enjoy their restaurant and we also dove with them for our scuba. We chose to get the house keeping and the chef. The food was great and it was amazing coming home with no dirty laundry! Both ladies were so wonderful and kind. It was my birthday during the trip and they went above and beyond to help my husband get a birthday cake and set up for a little party. They even gave me a gift. The house/boat person George was very helpful our entire stay. They called for a driver any time we had anything planned. We even visited the Church on the island. We loved it here and would absolutely stay here again in the future!"
Mango Creek Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We have to say spending our vacation in Mango Creek Resort is amazing. All the meals we had were individualized. The last dinner we had was seafood soup with king crabs and lobsters. Every meal tasted fantastic. The living environment is so unique. Just stepping out from the back deck, we could swim in the ocean with a lot of fishes. There are so many activities we could enjoy, such as kayaking, fishing etc. my toddler son was so happy everyday with all kinds of animals around. All the staffs are knowledgeable and supportive. We highly recommend Mango Creek Resort to anyone."
Trujillo Airport Beach Suites
8/10 Good
"Son muy bonitas las Suites y están frente al mar; lo único malo fue que la refrigeradora no servía y nunca solucionaron el problema. Lo demás todo bien!"
Living Waters Luxury Beachfront Estate
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing stay at Living Waters! Communication was excellent! Christal was so kind and helpful- met us at the airport escorted us to get some groceries and we followed her to the house in our rental car. Highly recommend Dash Island Rentals for rental cars!! Definitely have Dulce cook for you - she is incredible and the food was delicious! We did two snorkel trips with Handford Tours and i cannot say enough how much fun we had. They picked us up from the dock for a completely private tour. He and Ben were the best guides- so knowledgable and took us to spots that were gorgeous and no one else was there - felt like the entire reef was ours. Snorkeling with nurse sharks and sting rays was a highlight! The house is beautiful, clean and Lany took great care of the grounds at all times. We had a bonfire on the beach our last night that Lany prepared for us and he was always up early cleaning up the grounds and making sure we were all good. We used the kayaks and snorkel gear to go out to the reef just beyond the house, or we just relaxed in the pool and watched the water. It was the perfect vacation - so quiet and peaceful! It’s wonderful to be away from the cruise ship crowds and on the quiet end of the island. One night, we ate dinner at Camp Bay Lodge which is just a couple doors down. I wish we could stay longer!! We’re already planning our next trip to Living Waters! Thank you to everyone that helped make it such a special week!!"
North Beach Club

"Beautiful place love the beach"
Villas Pico Bonito
8/10 Good
"The upsides: The hotel is BEAUTIFUL - truly an escape in the mountains. The pool overlooks the river which was stunning!!! We stayed at the Colibri house - the space was clean and even though it didn't have AC, we really didn't need it bc there are plenty fans and the night isnt as hot. The downsides: restaurant/bar closes really early and you also have to leave ready your order for brekkie the night before. The lady at reception wasn't very nice either. When we checked out we we moved to the pool and not event 2 mins after we sat down she came to us saying we had to leave unless we spent more $$$ - which we were planning to do lol but her attitude wasn't great"

Port Paradise - Oceanfront with Private Beach - Kayaks & World Class Snorkeling
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I stayed at Port Paradise for a week in May for our 20th anniversary because we wanted a quiet and secluded location away from the typical tourist hotspots. It did not disappoint.Renee was an excellent host, helping in any way necessary. She helped coordinate with a both a fishing and scuba guide so we could be picked up right at the dock. No issues whatsoever planning those activities. Most everyone was using WhatsApp for communication. Cell service was not an issue and WiFi at the house was good.Carlos was also fantastic, helping with anything we needed and taking us out for a day trip to Jade Beach and Pigeon Cay to swim with the nurse sharks and rays, then to a local restaurant in Santa Elena. Highly recommended. The house was great, everything was clean and worked well. We knew once we got out there that we didn’t want to venture back into town so we tried to get everything we needed for the week at Eldon’s in French Harbour. There is also another grocery next to Eldon’s with additional organic and “clean eating” type products. Glad we did because going back into town would’ve taken up a good portion of a vacation day.The drive isn’t difficult, a little over an hour to experience the local driving culture. There was some road construction. The last mile is a little rough, but doable in the compact SUV we rented. The snorkeling right around Cow and Calf was awesome as well.We loved everything about our trip and hope to be back soon!"
