"Everything was wonderful and staff was super helpful and friendly! Only complaint was the bed pillows were REALLY small and squsihy! Should have brought my own pillow because I am a pillow snob! LOVED the Texas waffles and fresh build tour own yogurt!! "

"side door from the pool and parking lot was difficult to open, the handle had to be in a certain position to open the door. staff was great, very nice. Would stay here again."

"We enjoyed ranch house 3 during our stay. There are 3 "ranch houses" in a row on one end of the property. Much more secluded than the other cabins (I believe 17ish in that group). As a family we loved the pool area, and ate multiple times at the lodge restaurant. There were also 2 well maintained plagrounds. Ranch house had everything we needed except for cookie sheet for breakfast. (Found a DG 5min away) We would love to stay again. My only "complaint" or suggestion, is that we would have loved to rent a cart during our stay. As a family with small kiddos, the property was not walkable, so we had to load up the car every time to go eat, pool, fish pond, etc. We decided against the fish pond for this reason, as it is about a .25mile walk from your car to pond. (With toddlers and equipment, we decided to go to lake instead)"

"I was skeptical when I saw the very high ratings, because it is also the cheapest in the area. We crashed in our drive across Texas, and this place was perfect. Clean sheets, good functioning air conditioner, secure room, very clean minimalist restroom. Someone highly conscientious is running the place, as seen by the caulking, clean corners, and close attention to the small details of maintenance. All other comparably priced places have things such as dirt in corners, stained curtains, moldy tub caulk, etc. In sharpt contrast, this place is as good as it gets for a very basic room."
