"An excellent hotel - very comfortable and clean, good beds and bedding, as well as modern bathroom and lavatory fittings. The staff are charming and the provision of a hospitality tray in the room was an unusual and a welcome amenity in a French hotel. The buffet breakfast is excellent with fresh home-cooked options, cereals, a varied and interesting selection of viennoiseries, freshly pressed orange juice and very good coffee. The small bar is well stocked, the drinks generous and reasonably priced. They will even lend umbrellas if needed! The location is excellent - at the end of the main shopping street, within easy walking of the museums, galleries, Papal palaces and gardens and -a real bonus-5 minutes walk from the central railway station with regular services to the TGV station (about a 6 minute journey."

"Breakfast fresh and ample. AC did not work to any measurable degree. Big complaint: Our room was on 2nd Floor. An elevator goes to the second floor, but half the rooms are not accessible by elevator. One has to ride up to 2; then down a stairway to 1; then up another stairway to 2. I understand that the configuration of this old building does not accommodate an elevator to all the second floor rooms; however, that she be made clear in Orbitz' dscription of the hotel."

"Reception refused me to check-in although I have pre-paid incl breakfast. Rude, helpless guy at reception, first let me wait 10 mins as he was CHATTING to another guest without any eye contact or saying anything to me. Then he wanted a EUR 300 security deposit to my card, it did not work after searching 2 mins for the card machine. I gave him 300 in cash, he said "not acceptable". Then he tried another 5 mins to refund it via the non working card. My card worked before and after every time. I had to look for another hotel. My prepayment was not refunded as promised. I contacted Expedia, there is still no refund."
