Great property. It is a contactless check in so make sure to read the messages sent by the property. Rooms are spacious and very nice. Wonderful restaurant on site, North Star, with great staff and awesome bartender. Stayed for a NASCAR race at Lime Rock Park and will definitely come back.

Exceptional all the way around! The Alander is a great place to unplug and reset. The ease of checking in/out, friendly and supportive staff, beautiful rooms with thoughtful amenities, comfy/cozy bed linens, hot shower with phenomenal water pressure, I could go on and on. Complimentary room amenities along with breakfast on Saturday and Sunday that is well beyond what most properties offer and more than Substantial enough to get you going for a day of hiking on nearby picturesque trails. The North Star, on premise restaurant, goes above and beyond in terms of service, selection, price to quality ratio and well executive creative menu choices. Cocktails and wine list were equally well executed with price and quality being offered. There is zero, and I mean zero negative things I have to say about this property except that I wish I lived closer to dine and stay more often. Reid & Jason have created something truly special where every detail, every inch was filled with heart. A labor of love and it shows.

Great place to stay. Super clean and comfortable. We truly appreciated how much thought went into the room— especially the granola from their restaurant and the bag of ice in the freezer, even the glassware options were great to have. They seem to have thought of everything. We loved enjoying the fire pit before bed. We would definitely stay at the Alander again!

A lovely stay at The Alander, the host allowed was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are cozy and designed beautifully.The cute restaurant attached to the hotel had a lovely staff who gave us a bag of ice for our room. The grounds are very relaxing and the atmosphere fun. That rain shower in the bathroom is truly heavenly. Thank you Copake, we will be back.

Great hotel, exactly what I needed. I was just up for the one night and raced over at Lime Rock in the morning. Thanks to the Alander, I got a great night's sleep and a quick ride over to the track in the morning. It was perfect, easy, comfortable, and all the love and effort Reid and Jason put into it clearly shows in all the small touches. The attached restaurant was great too. I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was a perfect portion and prepared so well. I look forward to staying there again the next time I come up for a track day. Thank you!

The Alander has such a fun story, and was a great stay. We were just passing through for the night and it had everything we could need! It reminded me of Rosebud Motel group from Schitts Creek ;) if you know you know! Will definitely be staying again!

The Alander was a great find! Clean, cozy and super comfortable beds. We loved the complimentary local tea, yogurt and granola. I especially appreciated the maps with local places to explore and the host’s suggestions for activities. I hope I will be able to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor spaces and the fire pit.
