This was an idyllic escape out of the city for a bit. The restaurant was great, the owners are considerate, kind and accommodating and the view from the property is breathtaking. We needed something low key and restorative and we got it. Looking forward to returning the next time we need a getaway.

This is a very nice renovation of an old motel property...a blueprint for all those aging vestiges of days before the Interstate. The amenities and snacks in the room were of top quality, the beds and linens fantastic and the restaurant was excellent. Very well done

Great property. It is a contactless check in so make sure to read the messages sent by the property. Rooms are spacious and very nice. Wonderful restaurant on site, North Star, with great staff and awesome bartender. Stayed for a NASCAR race at Lime Rock Park and will definitely come back.

Great place to stay. Super clean and comfortable. We truly appreciated how much thought went into the room— especially the granola from their restaurant and the bag of ice in the freezer, even the glassware options were great to have. They seem to have thought of everything. We loved enjoying the fire pit before bed. We would definitely stay at the Alander again!

We just stumbled upon this hidden gem. The rooms look recently updated and super clean. The hotel was quiet and cozy. There’s also an attached restaurant. We woke up and had coffee and a chat with one of the owners. The location was perfect for our needs. Close to local attractions. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely stay at The Alander, the host allowed was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are cozy and designed beautifully.The cute restaurant attached to the hotel had a lovely staff who gave us a bag of ice for our room. The grounds are very relaxing and the atmosphere fun. That rain shower in the bathroom is truly heavenly. Thank you Copake, we will be back.

Great hotel, exactly what I needed. I was just up for the one night and raced over at Lime Rock in the morning. Thanks to the Alander, I got a great night's sleep and a quick ride over to the track in the morning. It was perfect, easy, comfortable, and all the love and effort Reid and Jason put into it clearly shows in all the small touches. The attached restaurant was great too. I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was a perfect portion and prepared so well. I look forward to staying there again the next time I come up for a track day. Thank you!
